Deansgrange, Dublin
This contract was particularly demanding technically and logistically because the work was carried out entirely within a temporary works cofferdam, at several different levels, and with a number of other sub-contractors working in the same area.
The sequence of working had to be continually adjusted to suit the respective access requirements and programming of ourselves and the other sub-contractors in order to facilitate timely and safe completion of the works.
The ground conditions encoutered were also very difficult with weathered granite and water bearing residual soils being present beneath the site.
